Peter Casey

Peter is an Associate Director with Sigmar Recruitment, leading recruitment operations across the West, Northwest, and Midlands. Based between Galway and Athlone, he works closely with regional and national clients to deliver tailored talent solutions across key sectors including Accountancy & Finance, Banking & Financial Services, Technology, Engineering, HR, and Business Support.

Peter specialises in senior finance and HR recruitment, partnering with organisations to appoint high-impact talent from qualified accountants through to CFO level, as well as strategic HR leaders. He also supports clients on niche and hard-to-fill managerial and operational roles, helping build and scale high-performing teams across both indigenous and multinational businesses.

Holding a Degree in Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland, Peter brings over 11 years’ experience in recruitment and talent advisory. He has successfully delivered executive search assignments, large-scale recruitment campaigns, and bespoke RPO solutions across both public and private sectors.
